Privacy notice
CoveredAgain is an independent information tool. It is not an insurer, a law firm or a medical provider, and it is not affiliated with any employer or insurance company.
What we collect
Looking up an employer needs no account and collects nothing about you. Dates you type into the deadline calculator stay on your device and are never sent to us.
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the employer page you signed up from (if any) and the date. We do not ask for, and you should not send, any health information.
We count page views and searches as daily totals so we know whether the tool is useful. These totals are not linked to you. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
Only to email you when appeal-letter help is ready. We do not sell, rent or share your email with anyone, other than the hosting provider that stores it for us (Cloudflare).
Consumer health data
We do not collect, share or sell consumer health data, as defined in Washington’s My Health My Data Act and similar state laws. Signing up for the waitlist tells us only that you are interested in the tool.
How long we keep it
Until you remove it, or at most 12 months after the waitlist closes, whichever comes first.
Remove your email
Enter the address you signed up with and we’ll delete it right away.
Where the plan information comes from
Employer plan details come from public Form 5500 filings published by the U.S. Department of Labor. We report what the filings say and show how we read them on each page.
Children
CoveredAgain is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date above. We won’t use an email you already gave us in a new way without asking.
